Udaipur, India
The Oberoi Udaivilas sits on the banks of Lake Pichola, with the old city of Udaipur across the water. Its domes, arches and long courtyards take their cue from the palaces of Mewar.
Craft is everywhere. Hand-painted detail, carved stone and gilded ceilings run through the public spaces, and pools and water channels thread between the wings. Evenings are the draw: the palaces opposite light up and the lake goes still.
Bali, Indonesia
A tented camp in the rainforest outside Ubud, designed by Bill Bensley. The tents step down a steep valley towards a river, linked by paths and bridges through the trees.
Each tent is dressed around a character from an imagined early expedition, so no two interiors match. Fabrics, collected objects and hand-made furniture do the storytelling. It feels more like a stage set than a resort, and that is the point.
Corrientes, Argentina
Explora Iberá brings the brand's lodge style to the Esteros del Iberá, one of the largest wetland systems in South America. Water, reed beds and open sky set the tone.
Design here is quiet and local. Natural materials, wide windows and an unhurried layout keep attention on the landscape outside. Guided outings on foot, horseback and by boat are the core of a stay, in a region known for its long-running rewilding work.
